Ashley is an Owner Account Representative at Johnson Controls. She provides building owners, facility managers, and property managers solutions for developing, improving, and maintaining their HVAC, fire alarm, and security systems. A building is only as good as the environment provided for its tenants to live and work. The service Ashley provides helps end users ensure that the mechanical, security, and fire alarm equipment in the building is serviced and maintained to increase asset longevity, functionality, and provide the highest energy savings. This also assures that the air quality is clean and comfortable, and that the building is safe and secure from a range of dangers, including failing equipment, intruders and fire.
Before joining Johnson Controls in 2016, Ashley worked at ColonialWebb Contractors as a Project Specialist; before that she worked for Avis Electric Company for eleven and a half years. She earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from Virginia Tech as well as a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Mary Baldwin University. After work hours, she enjoys participating in several professional networking groups, but especially loves being a part of IMFA. When she is not networking she is either captaining her kickball, wiffleball, dodgeball, or bowling league…and here and there a mediocre game of golf. More than anything she loves to be near the water, explore the city, and hang out with her husband Nick and their two Border Collies, Lulu and Jett.
